Alex has also worked with vulnerable clients who have been survivors of exploitation and domestic abuse. Her clients have been people from a variety of backgrounds, including native English speakers, bilinguals, dual-nationals and immigrants from all over the world, many of whom spoke with different accents and for whom English was not their first language.
Some of her clients had gone through so much trauma that they did not want to speak at all. Alex believes the key to communication is not only hearing what is said, but also understanding what is not said.
By asking the right questions, you can significantly improve your communication skills and work more effectively.

Having trained, qualified and practised in both civil and common law jurisdictions, Alex can navigate the legal complexities between these two legal systems.
This has inspired her to pursue her passion for languages and education, combine it with her legal experience and start a training consultancy for international lawyers and students who want to learn about the English legal system and want to work with international clients.
