Lecture on the Criminal Justice System for the University WSB Merito

Last week, I gave two lectures to students at the Univesity WSB Merito in Gdańsk.

We discussed the legal profession and the fundamentals of the criminal justice system, comparing Poland and the UK. I really enjoyed hearing students’ perspectives on the jury system, as well as exploring opportunities for pursuing an international legal career.

Jury or no-jury trial?

We discussed elements of a jury trial and compared the procedure to the Polish criminal trial.
